'We thoroughly enjoyed our express colour party. It was fun seeing everyone in the different colour palettes and trying to guess, which one suited each party member the most. We also enjoyed the makeup session and trying out shades in line with our colouring. Annette was a wonderful host, making us feel comfortable and welcome. We would recommend the experience.

‘Spent a lovely couple of hours with Annette, with the main aim of updating my colours, originally worked out many years ago. This was very worthwhile, as there has been a slight shift, what with aging skin and greying hair making its appearance!
Annette also gave me lots of different tips and showed me some very simple make up applications, and I now find myself taking photos to check how it looks! Very pleased with the results.

"My daughter and I attended an express session with Annette and having first experienced CMB some 30 years ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how it evolved and changed.
Annette explained the concept of colour and how light reflects on our skin so that by choosing the right colours, we can minimise the lines and shadows and actually light up our faces with the right ones!
Having used cool foundation for years on the advice of beauticians, I found that I have 'warm yellow undertones' and not 'pink cool' ones!
Annette was great at advising us on not throwing out the contents of our wardrobes, but working with the clothes we have by adding accessories and our future purchases will now be influenced by our new colour pallettes and therefore will not only be more flattering, but create a capsule wardrobe that works and isn't full of impulse buys!
We tried out the CMB cosmetics which are lovely and affordable too and came away with a detailed list of those suited to our complexions
So, we would highly recommend a consultation with Annette which was a fun, informative and positive experience for both of us

"I arranged for my two daughters, in their twenties, and I to have a colour consultation with Annette, which was delightful and fantastic. Annette looked stunning, so immediately won my confidence. She made us very welcome in a delightful setting and put us at ease. She communicated really well the process and outcomes, with patience and was generous with her time. "I had such a fantastic experience with Annette earlier this week. She was friendly, professional, genuine and very knowledgeable. She really took time to explain everything and involve me in the process at every stage. So interesting finding out what colours really suit me and the difference it makes in both clothing and make up....my husband said I looked radiant when I got home! "I wanted to thank you for the lovely time we had the other morning when I visited you for a make-up lesson. I first learnt how to put make-up on back in the 1980s by a mail order course as a teenager, and now that I'm in my 50s I have lost my confidence. You taught me how to start with a barely-there look and build on it for three more different looks, depending on the occasion. The techniques you showed me are so easy to use and I reproduced the most look in just 15 minutes the first time I tried it! I loved trying different colours in my palette and my husband and son both loved the going out look I returned home wearing. Thank you so much for a fun, informative session that was good for my soul".

"I had a lovely time this week when I visited Annette for a colour consultation. I had had a colour analysis many years ago but of course things have changed so much; not least that as a result of a very extended Covid lockdown I let my grey hair grow through and have not coloured it since! My daughter bought me a colour consultation with Annette for my 70th birthday (not a milestone I was looking forward to)! She made us feel very welcome straight away. Sitting in her studio was so relaxing even though the hot weather outside was uncomfortable.
Annette was very hospitable and very patient, spending lots of time showing how the different colours affected the light on my face. She was really kind and encouraging. It was a pleasure to learn about the new ‘me’ and see the range of colours for ‘cool’ rather than ‘warm’ skin/hair tones. The comprehensive swatches will be in my handbag permanently to help guide any new purchases.
CMB make-up is really high quality and I was blown away by the look she gave me. Needless to say I bought several items and have since gone onto the website for others. Thank you so much for a fun, informative session that was so good for my confidence."

‘This really was a ‘life changing’ experience! Although a few of my colours I liked and wore were right. Many like bright pink and black were completely wrong. Often when I dressed up in my favourite black to go out I would like tired and drained and never understood why. Wrong colours! I should of been wearing warm browns reds and greens. This was completely alien to me. At first I would put the ‘right colours’ on with black trousers and black jackets. Still not right. Life changed when I brought my first pair of brown trousers and boots and a warm tan jacket. Something I never thought I would do. Suddenly everything looked right and I could wear lots of the ‘right’ colours in my wardrobe. When wearing these I looks healthier and well! The colour consultation was in a lovely environment and Annette made the whole experience fun and informative. A great day out with my sister’

“My wife’s mum bought us a voucher for a colour consultation with Annette, we were looking forward to it for ages and it totally exceeded our expectations. Annette is such a lovely lady and we had so many laughs with her! Right from the start she made us feel so welcome and comfortable in her home. We loved the colour analysis and finding out which ones worked best for us. The makeup was really high quality and Annette was very patient and helpful in showing us how to apply bits we hadn’t used before. When we have had our makeup done in the past we have sometimes been made to feel even more insecure about features we have that we don’t particularly like but Annette was not like that at all, she was so kind and understanding and encouraging. We had such a lovely time and we will 100% be buying more makeup from Annette and making use of her style consultations and wardrobe-weeding services too ❤️"
