"I had a lovely time this week when I visited Annette for a colour consultation. I had had a colour analysis many years ago but of course things have changed so much; not least that as a result of a very extended Covid lockdown I let my grey hair grow through and have not coloured it since! My daughter bought me a colour consultation with Annette for my 70th birthday (not a milestone I was looking forward to)! She made us feel very welcome straight away. Sitting in her studio was so relaxing even though the hot weather outside was uncomfortable.
Annette was very hospitable and very patient, spending lots of time showing how the different colours affected the light on my face. She was really kind and encouraging. It was a pleasure to learn about the new ‘me’ and see the range of colours for ‘cool’ rather than ‘warm’ skin/hair tones. The comprehensive swatches will be in my handbag permanently to help guide any new purchases.
CMB make-up is really high quality and I was blown away by the look she gave me. Needless to say I bought several items and have since gone onto the website for others. Thank you so much for a fun, informative session that was so good for my confidence."

‘This really was a ‘life changing’ experience! Although a few of my colours I liked and wore were right. Many like bright pink and black were completely wrong. Often when I dressed up in my favourite black to go out I would like tired and drained and never understood why. Wrong colours! I should of been wearing warm browns reds and greens. This was completely alien to me. At first I would put the ‘right colours’ on with black trousers and black jackets. Still not right. Life changed when I brought my first pair of brown trousers and boots and a warm tan jacket. Something I never thought I would do. Suddenly everything looked right and I could wear lots of the ‘right’ colours in my wardrobe. When wearing these I looks healthier and well! The colour consultation was in a lovely environment and Annette made the whole experience fun and informative. A great day out with my sister’

“My wife’s mum bought us a voucher for a colour consultation with Annette, we were looking forward to it for ages and it totally exceeded our expectations. Annette is such a lovely lady and we had so many laughs with her! Right from the start she made us feel so welcome and comfortable in her home. We loved the colour analysis and finding out which ones worked best for us. The makeup was really high quality and Annette was very patient and helpful in showing us how to apply bits we hadn’t used before. When we have had our makeup done in the past we have sometimes been made to feel even more insecure about features we have that we don’t particularly like but Annette was not like that at all, she was so kind and understanding and encouraging. We had such a lovely time and we will 100% be buying more makeup from Annette and making use of her style consultations and wardrobe-weeding services too ❤️"

"I had a colour consultatiom with a friend and it was an amazing experience. Annette was very welcoming, informative and friendly. It was very interesting finding out which colours suited the both of us and it was good fun being able to try out lots of different makeup and to see how it should be applied based on face shape. I would definitely recommend the experience."
